As CEO and Co-Founder at Dyer Baade, Daniel is driving the growth of the business. He has led some of the largest mandates of the firm advising on complex strategic projects, as well as buy-side and sell-side transactions. He is advising some of the firm’s most important clients, incl. Private Equity firms, Trade Buyers, Entrepreneurs and Investors, with a particular focus on transactions in the financial services sector. Furthermore, he is spearheading Dyer Baade’s capital raising activities, helping clients to raise substantial amounts of equity and debt to finance M&A and other value creating strategies.

Daniel holds a masters degree and a Ph.D. in economics and strategy after completing studies in Hannover (GER), Maastricht (NL) and Los Angeles (USA), followed by Executive Education Programs at INSEAD (FRA) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (USA).

Following a successful academic career, Daniel was hired as personal assistant to the Group CFO, Group COO and Deputy CEO of AWD Holding AG - one of Europe’s largest independent financial services companies. In this role he supported the board on a variety of strategic, M&A and corporate finance topics. 

In 2010 Daniel was appointed to the Executive Committee of Chase de Vere - London (UK) - driving the firm’s corporate development activities on behalf of the German/Swiss shareholders, including a comprehensive corporate restructuring and strategic repositioning.

Between 2012-2016, Daniel served as Global Head of Strategy and Senior Finance Director for Christie’s - with $6bn sales the world’s largest art & auction house. During this time the firm completed a record breaking number of sales for more than $10m. Before founding Dyer Baade in 2019, Daniel was an active advisor, investor and entrepreneur for various Hedge Funds/PE, emerging market companies and startups. He is a passionate golfer.
